Monie Love teams up with Nana Fofie for “1NE People” [Video]

Legendary British emcee Monie Love returns with brand new single “1NE People” which sees her displaying her West Indian roots as she performs a laid-back melodic, reggae chant vocal performance in Jamaican patois which is inspired by the heartfelt mantra by Marcus Garvey – “Out of Many, One People”. Over the smooth backdrop produced by upcoming Roctimus Prime (co-production from legendary producer Baby Paul), she proclaims the notion of one people under the sun and aims to spread positive vibes all around. She is joined by emerging Ghanaian singer/songwriter vocalist Nana Fofie who is from Rotterdam, South Holland.  The result is a blissful and uplifting tune that is perfect for that summer cookout we have been waiting for.

The song comes with a befitting visual as well as we see both Monie Love and Nana Fofie basking in the golden sun. Monie is out with her crew celebrating the day while Nana is shown doing her thing in her own element.
