Mississauga rapper Nyiam‘s new single “ASStrology” is an insightful and thought-provoking dive into astrology and love. The title may mislead some but the lyrics sure are evocative and quite engaging. Nyiam runs through the 12 Zodiac signs to find the perfect partner and the results are quite enlightening.

The Mississauga native began making beats and writing songs at the age of thirteen, drawing early influence from lyricists such as Big L and Eminem and producers like Dre, MadLib and The Neptunes. By the age of seventeen, Nyiam began recording early projects, quickly growing a dedicated fanbase locally before the release of his debut album, D.O.P.E., in December of 2010. Since his formal introduction Nyiam has become a regular on the Toronto Beat scene playing live shows at venues throughout the city including Subtle Blend and The Build Co. Arts & Music Collective.
