From the lush synths, pulsating basslines, and rousing 4 to the floor drums, listeners are immediately drawn into the mix alongside Danique van der Vlugt‘s enthralling vocals.
While the engaging track seeks to soothe the mind and ears, the topic is somewhat brooding as it dwells on escapism in its highest form. Using the nightlife aura to drown out the inner pain, we tend to find another source to plug into but at the back of our minds, the truth lingers but we just can’t manage to stop. It’s quite poignant and the lyrics are as evocative as ever.
